Lexeri at the tekom Annual Conference 2026: What we are bringing
This year, three topics take center stage: how to use AI effectively with verified terminology, how to make the value of your terminology work measurable, and how Lexeri fits seamlessly into even more tools. On top of that, we give three talks and run a joint tekom campaign with our partner Milengo. We also offer a first look at what is coming to Lexeri in 2027.
What awaits you at the Lexeri booth
Connect AI with terminology
Language models write fast, but not automatically in your technical language. For AI to use the right terms, it needs access to a verified data source. That is exactly the role your terminology in Lexeri plays.
At the booth, we show you the AI features in Lexeri and how to connect your terminology to language models. AI is used in a targeted and controlled way, and your terminology is used where texts are written today.
Drop by and talk to us about your AI use cases. How simple such a use case is and what it looks like in practice is shown in our joint talk with our customer Memmert: “Pimp my AI” explains how ontologies from Lexeri and MCP improve the use of AI with company-specific data.
Measure and show the value
Good terminology work makes a difference, but often stays out of sight. If you want budget and support for terminology, you need more than a good feeling: you need hard numbers.
With our new KPI feature, you analyze the behavior of your users and the results of your terminology work. That way, you show the value terminology creates in your company.
How to use these numbers convincingly is the topic of our talk “Business case for terminology management – in the language of decision-makers”.
New integrations and apps
Terminology has the strongest effect where your texts are written: in the content management system, in the translation tool and in the development environment. That is why we keep expanding the integrations of Lexeri.
New since the last tekom are integrations for Oxygen XML Editor, MadCap Flare, Visual Studio, Crowdin, Congree and Phrase, among others. With the Lexeri app for Windows and macOS, you also have your terminology at hand right on your desktop and in every application.
As a software company, we focus on terminology in development ourselves – a department that is less in the spotlight when it comes to terminology. Our tutorial “From backlog to build – terminology across the software lifecycle” shows that terminology creates value in software development, too.
Sneak peek: beyond the term level
For us, terminology is just the beginning. What we are planning for next year, we will reveal exclusively at the booth.
Our talks at tekom
Pimp my AI: How we improve our AI with ontologies & MCP
What happens when you take terminology further? In a pilot project, the laboratory equipment manufacturer Memmert developed its terminology into an ontology of its product world – from a single component of its climate technology to series names and product categories. The perfect basis for AI scenarios: company-specific data from the PIM as well as terminology and ontology from Lexeri were connected to an LLM via MCP.
The result: a sales assistant that gives sales colleagues correct answers about Memmert’s growing product range in seconds – without clicking through individual systems. You will learn how your terminology becomes the basis for AI applications, when an ontology pays off and which other use cases the solution supports.

From backlog to build – terminology across the software lifecycle
In software projects, terminology emerges in many places at once: in user stories, in UI design, in source code, in documentation and in translations. If these sources stay disconnected, the result is synonyms in the interface and costly correction loops.
The tutorial shows where terminology work can hook in: at the product idea in Jira and Confluence, during development in Visual Studio Code and in AI coding assistants, at the merge request as a quality gate in the CI/CD pipeline and afterwards with regular checks of the UI texts. One focus is automation across tools, for example with workflows in n8n and via MCP servers. Short demos show term extraction, term checks via plug-in and command line, and automatically created tickets for terminology violations.

Business case for terminology management – in the language of decision-makers
Subject matter experts talk about language quality and consistency – decision-makers think in costs, risks and efficiency. But only one of these lines of argument opens budgets. With AI, this changes: anyone who introduces AI-supported content processes needs clean terminology as a foundation. Suddenly, quality standards and the business case point in the same direction.
Based on real-world reports, the talk shows how to get from a specialist topic to an approved project proposal: with calculation approaches, key figures, estimates and ROI arguments that tie in with company goals.

Joint tekom campaign with Milengo: your terminology starter package
You do not have a termbase yet, but want to save costs with AI translation? Then our joint campaign with Milengo comes at just the right time. With our terminology starter package, we build a ready-to-use termbase for you from the data you already have. And the best part: during the campaign, there are no Lexeri license fees for building your terminology.
How it works:
- You visit Lexeri at booth 2D21 or Milengo at booth 2E33, we run a short data check with you and sign you up for the campaign.
- After the fair, we extract the terms from your documents in Lexeri.
- AI does the first cleanup, and Milengo’s terminology experts review the result. Your target languages come straight from your translation memory.
- You approve the result and get access to your terminology in Lexeri and in Milengo’s LanguageDesk.
The campaign runs until 21 November 2026. We give the pilot places to the first companies that complete the data check – so it pays to come by early. The campaign is open to companies that are not yet Lexeri customers.
What happens next? After the campaign, Milengo can use your terminology for AI translation. And you can decide how you want to keep using the benefits of Lexeri in-house.
We look forward to your visit
Stefan, Sarah and Lena are there for you at booth 2D21. And just like last year, our barista Sergio from Kaffee Katze is with us again, making the best coffee of the fair. Come by, have a coffee with us and talk to us about your terminology. See you in Stuttgart!
