Multilingual databases

Entries in multiple languages

You can save your terminology in any conceivable language in Lexeri. The terms are neatly embedded in the entries in the available languages and shown as equals.

Filter for languages

You can filter for one or several languages in the search settings. The selected languages are shown clearly in the entries, and your search is adjusted for your language requirements.

Attributes in multiple languages

You can add attributes to the term entries in multiple languages. This makes sure that employees from any country can understand your terminology and all associated information such as definitions and subject areas.

Terms you do not want to translate – Do not translate!

Add the ‘Do not translate’ attribute to terms to show users that this term is used in all languages – which often crops up with proper nouns and terms adopted from other languages. Then you will only need to maintain this term once in your database for it to apply to all languages.

Quality in all languages

Finding terms with missing languages

The ‘Missing language’ search attribute in the quality dashboard identifies entries that are still incomplete in certain languages. From here, you can add the terms in the respective language or send the entries to your language experts on the team.

Add attributes for all languages

You can also check entries for missing attributes in each language. This gives you a systematic option to add your most basic attributes to all languages one by one.
