Automations

Check texts automatically

When new content is created or published in a system such as your Adobe Experience Manager, Zendesk or Notion, it can be automatically checked by Lexeri for correct terminology. If prohibited terms are found, Blackbird.io can, for example, create a ticket in Jira or post a message in Slack or Teams.

Exports in CAT tools

As soon as your terminology is updated in Lexeri, Blackbird.io can automatically create exports and send them to connected CAT tools or machine translation providers such as DeepL or Language Weaver. This ensures that your terminology is always up to date.

Automate term extraction

If texts or documents are created or uploaded in external systems such as Google Docs or SharePoint, this can automatically trigger term extraction in Lexeri. You will then receive the term candidates as usual in Lexeri and can continue their editing.

Automate imports

If your terminology is also extended in other systems, the updated terminology from this system can be automatically imported into Lexeri after completing a translation project in a CAT tool such as RWS Trados. You can then continue editing the term drafts for export in Lexeri workflows.

Notifications about activities

Activities from Lexeri can trigger actions in external systems via Blackbird.io. For example, you can create messages in Slack or tickets in Jira or Monday.com. This keeps you up to date on everything.

How it works

Build workflows with Blackbird.io

You can use these modules to create your workflows in Blackbird.io. You can combine triggers, actions and connections from different systems without any programming knowledge. This allows you to respond to events in external systems or distribute your terminology in various systems.

Trigger

First, add a so-called trigger to your Blackbird workflow. This consists of an event, which can take place in an external tool or in Lexeri. One example of this may be the creation of a page in the Adobe Experience Manager.

Actions

Next, add to your workflow one or more actions that are to be executed after the trigger has been activated. They may include starting term extraction with the newly created content or exporting a termbase from Lexeri.

Connections

In your workflows, you can also respond to events within your actions. If you run a term check on a text, for example, you can check whether this term check has found any prohibited terms. At this point, your workflow branches out and can execute further different actions.
